I just got my DK to 69. The game seems geared to the DK. I'm sticking it out to 80 with him before I go back to my three squishies (Warlock & Priest at 70 and Mage at 71).

WotLK for me is getting back to my priest as my main instead of my mage. in BC, I took up the blood elf Mage to let everyone get through the starting areas on their toons before leveling the priest. I was thinking about doingthe same things here with the DK. I kind of like it so far and think it has potential. I doubt I'll make my DK a main though. just something to do when I'm not leveling other characters or raiding.

honestly, the dumbing down of BC instances is due to drastic changes in WotLK. In that respect it's ok cause more people get to see things. What I didn't like too much was removal of attunements and key requirements for BC raids. This meant that raids were skipping hard stuff cause they could go farm things and never went back to it. it's the reason I left my horde raid cause we couldn't drop keal, vashj, or archimonde yet the raid leader kept saying we were doing a great job taking out easy things.

I do like that we got to see the instances and fights but I didn't like skipping something just because it was hard. I know it's a game and it should be fun but I like challenges in my games so that when I finally accomplish something, it feels really good. I remember back in old WoW when my raid finally cleared Vaelstraza in Black Wing Lair. that felt great and awesome. then we clear Nefarian just before BC release and felt like we accomplished something few people can do. I don't mind making things easy but sometimes it feels like blizz makes it too easy and then ruins the epic feel those fights had.

It depends honestly, I been on a lot of guilds with mostly nice people that ended up splitting up or good members leaving because o lack of progress given that some fights were complicated for most of them, warcraft was a relatively easy game before this huge nerf, but I don't consider the fact that they dumbed wow, cos this guys are mostly pro's this is not he first game that they play and are very aware of the game's mechanics (I partied with some of them, and I relized how little I knew about bosses encounters I done 1000 times) if u do the right thing and know how to use most of ur char habilities, wow wasn't always a problem

I mained a 70 warlock in BC, and while I loved it, I was interested in trying something else.. either a melee dps or even a tank. Now, while I wasn't in any of the high end raiding guilds (I did a little bit of T5 stuff, but nothing past that), I'm still interested in taking on main tanking, or tanking specific bosses, whatever the case may be. I'm liking the DK so far (level 66 now), and will probably end up making it my main. It's a change of pace, and I like it.

As Gene said, all you need to do is the trash can strat. You can get to them from behind the hill, jumping up or over to get on top of them, toss 3/4 bombs and you're done.

First off I don't know why this has to be so complicated. Each expansion should have ONE unique "token"/"mark", so that ALL gear could only be purchased with that "token"/"mark". There is already within the game the idea to "exchange" old tokens with the latest type and this conversion could easily take into consideration how many of the old tokens you would need to get a new one.

Honor points should be left alone so cheers to Blizzard on that move! You did actually "earn" that honor so it should never be stripped. Now how much honor points you have to use to get an item was always at the discretion of Blizzard and could easily be taken into consideration when pricing any item.

Honor will *NOT* reset upon Lich King Launch.

Blue post (9/30/08): We had hoped that the introduction of some new Honor rewards in the upcoming patch would give players a great opportunity to spend any of their remaining Honor. However, many players would still be surprised by an Honor and token reset as it isn’t something we’ve done in the past. As such, we've decided to not reset Honor or tokens upon the release of Wrath of the Lich King. Players who save their Honor will be able to spend it on level 80 rewards, although those rewards will be significantly more expensive than their level 70 counterparts.
